As a free agent maverick journalist, I am sitting here in the media pit, type type typing away at my day job. Journalists are so boring!!! I asked one of them if I should start blasting some Lil' Wayne ... she was cool and obliged that it would be super appropriate.
Since I arrived nearly three hours early (I really should practice what I preach and read between the lines a bit more, eh?) I had time to donate to the campaign and secure a yard sign, which I carried into the media pit with a smug confidence. I turned to a college reporter and said, "No, this is not a conflict of interest." He laughed.
